Side Effects review

Lies, pills, and a lot of plot twists. This is Side Effects starring Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum; directed by Steven Soderbergh. So fist off let me say, Side Effects was great. I really liked this movie. If you're looking for something to see, see this. It's about a woman named Emily Taylor (Mara), whose husband just got out of jail for insider trading. She gets depressed and goes to a doctor named Jonathan Banks (Law). Now I really can't say a hell of a lot more without giving away major spoilers but let's just say things happen, the plot gets twisted, the movie gets good. Jude Law is absolutely terrific as the psychiatrist and Rooney Mara plays her part well. Catherine Zeta-Jones is in one of the best roles I've seen her in in a while, much better than she was in Broken City! This is Steven Soderbergh's best film since Contagion or Solaris, it may even be his best film yet. The best movie so far of the year. See it. I give Side Effects 4.4 out of 5 stars. Happy Viewing. 1. Good review Whit. There are enough redeeming details in this movie to make it worthy of viewing. Just don't expect this to be the best Soderbergh film of his career.
