#tbt Seven Psychopaths review

On October 12, 2012; two movies came out: Argo and Seven Psychopaths. They both got terrific reviews. Yet, only one (Argo) got an Oscar nod. Argo was good, but if it were up to me I'd give Seven Psychopaths at least a Best Original Screenplay nomination. It did win some BAFTA's at least. Anyway I loved Martin McDonagh's movie about a struggling screenwriter and his ridiculous adventure. It's about a screenwriter named Marty whose trying to write a movie called Seven Psychopaths, his crazy friend Billy who kidnaps dogs for a living, a very religious friend named Hans who loves his very sick wife and helps Billy with the dog kidnapping. Oh yeah, and there's this actually insane mobster, played wonderfully by Woody Harrelson,  whose dog is stolen by Billy and Hans. A whole crazy amount of twists and turns follow creating one terrific movie! The end if the movie is one of the most hilarious and satisfying movie endings I've seen in a long time. If you love funny movies, action movies, over-the-top violence movies, or just movies in general, watch Seven Psychopaths you won't be disappointed. Happy Viewing!
