#tbt Inglorious Basterds review

Once a upon a time in Nazi-occupied France.... A great movie was formed! Inglorious Basterds is a terrific movie starring Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Diane Kruger, and Eli Roth and Directed by Quentin Tarantino. An original script, a great cast, (Christoph Waltz won an Oscar for his performance as the sadistic Hans Landa) and an amazing director at the helm, it's no surprise how good this movie was. It's about a group of mostly American soldiers who team up to (bloodily) take down Hitler and kill some Nazis. It's also about an escaped Jewish girl, Shosanna, who hatches a plan to burn the Fuhrer and his goons to the ground. The movie is exciting, well written, and yes, even funny at times. Brad Pitt is really good as Lt. Aldo Raine, but Christoph Waltz is the real star here, he earned that Oscar 100%. It may not be Quentin Tarantino's best movie (Pulp Fiction holds that spot) but it's a close second. Anyway, it's great, see it. Happy Viewing!
